Shawinigan
hosts the Coupe Performance Québec grand finale
from July 31 to August 2, 2026

The 2026 season of the Coupe Performance Québec will wrap up in Shawinigan with the championship grand finale, held on a brand-new urban circuit set up in the Centre Gervais Auto parking lot.

All weekend long, karting and supermoto riders will put on an electrifying show as the championship standings come down to the very last races. Spectators can also enjoy many free activities for the whole family.

On Sunday, August 2, the season will end with the official awards and prize money ceremony for the championship.

A final weekend where adrenaline, competition, and celebrating the champions will all be on the agenda.

Honorary President – Shawinigan Finale

Originally from Trois-Rivières, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin is a three-time NASCAR Pinty’s Series champion (2014, 2018, 2021) and one of Quebec’s most accomplished drivers.

He will be the Honorary President of the Coupe Performance Québec finale in Shawinigan, where he’ll share his passion and experience with drivers and spectators. In addition to taking part in a special race on Thursday night, he’ll be on site all weekend with his NASCAR car for an autograph session with the public.

How far in advance do I need to register?

Registration will open mid-April and spots are limited. We strongly recommend registering early.

How can I register?

Registration is done online on the registration page.

Is a racing licence required to take part in the SKRDL?

Yes, a karting licence is required since this race is sanctioned by Auto Sport Québec.

Can I come with my family or friends?

You can come with someone, no problem. Site access is free for spectators.

When will the event schedule be released?

You’ll find the preliminary schedule on the rules page.

Do I need to call ahead to reserve a paddock spot?

No. Paddock spots are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Drivers can set up in available spaces as soon as they arrive on site.

You can stay near the site at the Broadway Pub, within walking distance of Centre Gervais Auto.

Otherwise, a few camping options are available near Shawinigan, such as Camping Îles Melville.

Will there be food and drinks on site?

Yes. Food will be provided exclusively by Jack le Coq. Orders can be placed via an app and picked up at the Jack le Coq tent located on Avenue des Cèdres.

BeaverTails and ice cream stands will also be on site.

Will there be giant screens on site?

Yes. The races will be live-streamed on an 18-foot giant screen. Cameras and two camera operators will also be on site to film the action on the track and around the venue.

Will the race be live-streamed online?

Yes, on the Facebook page of Coupe Performance Québec and on YouTube.

Is there an area for people with reduced mobility?

Yes, it will be located near Avenue des Cèdres.

Are animals allowed on site?

Yes, on a leash

Is there an ATM on site?

No. However, downtown is about a 5-minute walk away, where you’ll find ATMs and several amenities.

Where can I report a lost item on site?

At the registration office.

The site is accessible 24/7 and monitored by security staff. Please respect quiet hours after midnight.
